Feeling scared by all of the spooky gas appliances in your home?! Come see our Home Electrification Showcase in Alexandria! Learn how to develop a plan to improve your home's comfort and efficiency and reduce your fossil fuel dependence by electrifying cars, furnaces, water heaters, cooking and other machines. Learn about the incentives in the Inflation Reduction Act to help with the upfront costs for heat pumps and more, including solar panels, batteries, energy audits and weatherization.

Our overview program will start at 10:15 AM, followed by vists to stations around the house to learn more about what is involved in electrification and the benefits you can achieve. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and get additional information about this program and our broader #ElectrifyEverything! campaign.
